Cardiff-based quantity surveyors and project managers, Richard Parfitt Associates, announces two key promotions within its growing team.
Ian Court, already an Associate Director is appointed a full director of the company.He has an honours degree in Quantity Surveying, and a Masters Degree in Project Management(Construction). He is also a Member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Ian worked, trained and qualified in quantity surveying and project management in South Wales before moving to London for seven years, where he worked for two City Centre consultancy practices. He relocated back to South Wales and joined RPA as Associate Director in 2006. Since then his main specialisms have been in commercial development, health care, and housing associations.
Karen Chapman is promoted to Associate Director, having joined as a senior quantity surveyor in 2007. She has an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying, and is a Member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Kareen, too, has substantial London experience, largely in health care, hotels, media, and leisure. Since joining RPA she has played a significant role, with Ian Court, in strengthening the company’s offer to housing associations.
RPA director, Nick Soady, has expressed delight in announcing two internal promotions. ” Both Karen and Ian have high level skills and experience which are regularly commented on by clients.
