Practical completion achieved at University of Bristol

RPA’s Bristol office is delighted to announce that Practical Completion has been achieved on the refurbishment of the Beacon House project for the University of Bristol. The works involved a comprehensive refurbishment of the four upper floors of the building and a fit-out of new offices for the Vice Chancellor of the University.

We are delighted to have been commissioned on this, our second project, for the University of Bristol, and to be working alongside Studio LIME in their role as Project Managers. RPA provided cost & contract consultancy services for this project and played a significant part in ensuring that the budget was tightly controlled and the project was completed on time.

David Reeves, Associate Director at RPA’s Bristol office, commented, “This project was a challenge for the whole team given the nature of the works and the timeframe we had to complete the job but it has proved to be a great success. Credit should go to Aztech Building Services – the main contractor, together with the professional team and the University of Bristol Capital Projects team. This was a fantastic collaborative effort which yielded excellent results all round. “
