Our commitment to our clients and the future of the industry we operate within

Our Commitment

At RPA, we understand the importance of being a responsible corporate body. We are committed to creating a positive impact in the communities where we operate and ensuring that our business practices are increasingly sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Community

Being an SME we have a strong relationship with our local community, and while we have grown over the years this link to local community is still a core component of what RPA is about.

We actively participate in community initiatives supporting local charities and volunteering in community events.  We believe in building brilliant relationships with our clients, employees, and community members based on trust, respect and mutual support.

Over the last 5 years RPA have looked to support numerous community sports teams, academies and good causes which range from one off sponsorships to more strategic partnerships within the community and charities.

Linked to our enviable in house training programme for local talent, no matter which community RPA is located within we look to support locals.

If you have a good cause or community opportunity that you feel RPA can assist with please get in touch.

Sustainability

We are committed to minimising our environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices with construction. We continually assesses our eco-friendly policies such as reducing waste, conserving  energy, and promoting the use of green materials and we are working hard towards a number of accreditations to recognise this.

As a construction consultancy our team is constantly seeking innovative ways to reduce not only our own carbon footprint but also at ways to introduce new and innovative construction techniques and technology to scheme’s across our portfolio.

We believe that our commitment to community and sustainability is not only the right thing to do, but it also helps us to create long-lasting relationships with our clients and stakeholders.

We are proud of our work to become a socially responsible company that puts people and the planet first.

Community Benefits

RPA’s ethos is one of offering opportunities for individuals to enter the construction industry. Since RPA’s inception the company has continuously and regularly taken on apprentices from school (AS and A Level) and places a high importance on this recruitment strategy.

RPA link with Network 75 in Wales to enable apprentices to gain access to the relevant Quantity Surveying Degree programmes at either the University of South Wales or the University of West of England. RPA fund the costs of the tuition fees whether at college or university whilst also employing the individual at the company to gain experience ‘on the job’.

RPA also recognise the need to give back to the community where possible. Having assisted clients build much needed social housing in some of the most deprived areas of Wales, RPA have always looked to help where possible, whether this attending workshops, assisting with community projects or offering sponsorship to a local sports team or charity RPA is always keen to help.

RPA has an enviable reputation of training and putting forward candidates for the RICS APC pathway, currently we have a 100% internal record for staff over the last 7 years (6 candidates). With this training already offered we gladly open it up to our partners and regularly assist candidates from other companies in mentoring them to achieving their goals. This recently saw a candidate from Newydd Housing Association achieve his MRICS accreditation with RPA assisting in a small way and providing the FRICS sign off required for all submissions.

On top of the above RPA also part take in many charity days and events organised by clients and colleagues, and over the last 3 years have sponsored a number of local sports clubs including;
