RPA are delighted to be involved in the development at a former council site in Pontllanfraith for Pobl acting as Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor. Lovells have recently been appointed as Contractor to build 123 new homes on the site, including a mix of 40 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for open market sale, 40 affordable shared ownership homes and 43 affordable homes for social rent. The development – which will be known as Chartist Garden Village – has been designed around the principles of a garden village which enables homeowners to benefit from enhanced space and surrounding green landscapes. The works on site are due to start in Spring 2022 with site completion Autumn 2024.
