RPA ENTERS DRAGON BOAT RACE!

This year, for our team charity event, we have chosen to support St David’s Hospice by fundraising and entering two teams in the Dragon Boat Race. Dragon Boat Racing is an exhilarating and competitive water sport that brings teams together in an inclusive and dynamic way. Mixed-gender crews race against each other, making it a true test of teamwork and coordination. Rooted in China’s rich ‘Dragon’ culture, each boat features an ornately carved dragon head at the bow, a tail at the stern, and a hull painted with dragon scales. The paddles symbolically represent the dragon’s claws. These races are a vibrant and energetic spectacle, with at least two boats of 10 paddlers competing over a 250-metre course. Success relies not only on strength, endurance, and skill but also on teamwork and synchronized effort. Every donation and sponsorship will help St David’s Hospice continue providing vital care and support to those in need, ensuring their final days are as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Every penny truly makes a difference. If you are able to help use Donate here!
