Nick Soady

Nick has been with RPA since 1998 and sat as a director of the company for 18 years and Managing Director for 4 years. Nick has stepped down as a Director but continues to be heavily involved in the business ensuring RPA continues to grow and flourish 

Nick is well known across the UK construction industry and has over nearly 40 years of professional experience which is an asset to the ongoing growth and development of RPA.

 

Nick now works with a number of large public sector clients (and private land owners) advising them on how best to design and develop large parcels of land, managing design teams and undertaking viability studies and site appraisals to inform decisions at regional and national level.

Since completing an Honors Degree in Quantity Surveying at Reading University in 1985, Nick has now gained nearly 40 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor in the fields of Project Management and Construction Cost Control, primarily representing Clients in the procurement of major building projects in many sectors including Commercial, Residential, Retail, Leisure, healthcare, across both the private and public sectors.

Nick has also been involved in a number of projects within the renewable energy sector where we have provided Cost Consultancy services and seconded staff into specialist construction providers of Photovoltaic Parks and Wind Farms across the UK. 

Nick has also acted as Expert Witness on a number of construction contract disputes, adjudications and mediations
