Calcot Grain Store

Sector:       Commercial
Client:         Calcot Manor and Spa
Services:    Cost Management Fund Monitor
The Grain Store is a brand new state of the art gym, studios and offices facility constructed at the prestigious Calcot Manor & Hotel complex near Tetbury, Gloucester.

The Scheme

RPA has been delighted to be supporting the delivery of this scheme over the past two years, working closely with the project team through the design and construction phases of the Grain store facility culminating in its completion and opening in January 2024.

The scheme involved two separate contracts and two distinct phases. Initially the first ‘shell build’ phase comprised stripping the existing ‘Grain Store’ agricultural building back to its bare steel frame, which was then fire-proofed, re-roofed and then re-clad to create a new building that blended sympathetically into its rural surroundings. Phase 2 involved a complete internal fit out, including MEP, AV and FF&E installations and external works/ landscaping.

The new facility was an absolute success being delivered both on time and on budget, in no small part due to the skills and expertise of Zenith Construction [Main Contractor].
