Eastwood Park, Gloucestershire

Sector:       Education
Client:         Eastwood Park Training and Conference Centre
Eastwood Park is a unique organisation that provides high level training programmes to medical and vocational industries.

The scheme

The new Training Centre is one of the first buildings in the country is able to offer delegates state of the art training facilities over a range of specialist industries.

The building was constructed to very specific specification to create training environments that are designed to exactly replicate those that can be found in e.g. hospital theatres, dental surgeries and decontamination units.

The project team had to overcome numerous challenges in getting the project to this brown field site. It is the first non- government project in the UK to be granted a specialist Natural England licence in relation to the ecological challenges faced.

Alongside the construction of the new building, the project also included demolition works as well as a complete overhaul of the utilities that serve the existing Eastwood Park mansion and the new Training Centre development.
