Bad Wolf Film Studios

RPA secured the role of Employers Agent and Cost Consultant for the development of this prestigious production facility located within Cardiff Bay.

The scheme

The new facility provided 125,000 square feet of stage space with 5 stages ranging from 14,200 to 50,000 square feet and stage heights from 31 to 57.5 feet. Along with flexible office space, auxiliary rooms, costume and props storage.

The development was in a joint venture the Welsh Government.

Works comprised the design, extension, refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing, to include the erection of full height sound proof partitioning to create new production areas. As well as mechanical and electrical and associated internal fit out works.
